Day 14 and 15

We had a quiet day yesterday, Day 14. The day was going so well. Josh even was going to pee in the bathroom (that subject again!). When I would get him up to go, he would have just a moment or two where he would resist going, would even lay down on the floor, but no peeing on the couch or floor. After a minute or two, he would get up, I'd walk with him to the bathroom, and he would pee - a couple of times he sat instead of stood, but, hey, it worked. I did the reward thing - stickers each time. And, something that has not happened more than once before, he let me put one of those "tattoos" on his arm (spiderman)!

We had a pretty large turtle visit in the garden - pretty cool - it came strolling through the flowers and then freaked out when the cats saw it and started making noises. The poor thing ran into the lavendar and hid out. He came out again at one point and I tried to get a picture - Josh came to the door of the sun porch but he was kind of scared to come out to see it up close. It "ran" into the lavendar again and I haven't seen it since. We put out food for it so we'll see if it comes back.

But, in the evening, the family came over and things went down hill quickly. Of course, he had not snoozed all day so perhaps he was tired, perhaps it was a "show" for the family, but when I tried to get him up to pee before he ate dinner, absolutely no way. He layed down on the floor, on the blue hospital pad (I put that down, had the feeling he was going to not make it to the bathroom), wouldn't get up, then he moved the pad and started to pee on the floor. I lost it again, yelled at him, then had him just go upstairs. He wound up not even eating dinner. We've got apologizing to do with each other, again.

Hope Day 15 goes well - will be ordering more of the NV today since it does seem to be doing something for Josh. There have been so many positive changes in such a short time, my hope is that it will eventually have a positive affect on the peeing thing, and the reason for it.
